Pearson Drilling
& Pump Service provides commercial, municipal, stock, domestic and irrigation
drilling services. We have the ability to drill many hole
sizes. From 6”
to 60” diameter holes, we can drill any size depending on client needs.
We are licensed to drill with mud and air rotary. Versatility is
what helps us meet customer needs no matter what they may
be.
Free
estimates are provided without obligation. To provide you with
accurate estimates it helps to know the area in which your well will
be located. We
can then consider the different formations, how the well will be
used, the diameter of the hole, and how deep the well will be.
After a little research we can provide you with an estimate for the
best well possible on your property.
Permitting Process
Before we can begin drilling a well, you need a water well permit
issued by the Colorado Division of Water Resources. We will complete the
permitting process for you for free if you are drilling a well with
us. All we need is:
- To meet you on site so we have an idea where the well
will be located.
- To get your signature on the permit application.
- Get a check for the permit fee. At this time, a permit
costs $100 and is payable to the Colorado Division of Water Resources.
We complete and send the application within 24 hours, and receive
the permit from the Colorado Division of Water Resources anywhere
from two to six weeks. Once we get the permit back, we can schedule
drilling.
On-site Meeting and Planning
When you are ready to meet on-site, usually to begin the permit
process as described above, the owner and driller (John Pearson)
will meet with you. We do not send employees. We feel it is
important for our clients to meet the person that will be doing the
work. This is also a good time to have your initial questions
answered and if you’re not familiar with the process, John can
explain it to you best.

Exceeding State Standards
We not only meet but exceed state and industry standards. Just
meeting state standards is ok for some, but there are many areas
that Pearson Drilling and Pump Service go above and beyond. It is
our job to provide our client with the highest quality and
most reliable water system possible. Providing the highest quality water system available
has been a family
tradition.
Pricing
Pricing varies depending on the area. We charge a flat minimum
rate for shallow wells and a flat footage rate for deeper wells.
All pricing is given in writing before the work is performed. We
base our pricing on experience in your area. We DO NOT have any
hidden fees. All customers sign a contract that includes our
pricing so you are protected. A pumping system can range in price
depending on the depth, demand for water, and well production. We
will give you a “ballpark” pump estimate before drilling begins.
Once the well is drilled, we will give you a precise estimate for
the pumping system.
